Prom night is a very special night for High School Seniors. Its a night where they can celebrate and have fun. Its a night where classmates can come together, just one more night before they go their separate ways after graduation.
I’ve had the pleasure of being asked by these five senior women and a senior dude (hehe) to photograph them. It was surely a pleasure of mine and I had so much fun. Also since i’ve known two of the girls since they were 5 years old.
Dragonridge Country Club in Henderson was the site of their prom. And man can I say it is was a beautiful place. I’ve done numerous weddings there, but everytime I go there I always find a new spot. And the spot I found this time was the pool area. The pool area had cabanas that was glowing reds and white. It was popping out that I had to use them and I sure did. The waterfall also provided me with such an awesome backdrop. One area I particularly loved was against the fence where the trees and bushes was screaming green. I knew I had to pose the girls there and I did. The sun as it was setting provided the best backlighting ever. It illuminated the leaves to give it a glow that I can’t explain. It was so beautiful! All in all the images came out so perfect! And they loved them as well.
I’ve chosen 20 of my favorites from the shoot. Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed shooting them.
